From Love Actually to Elf we all have our personal favourites. And is it even Christmas if you don't debate if Die Hard really is a Christmas movie?

This heartwarming gem tells the story of 6-year-old Susan Walker who is on a mission to prove that a man claiming to be Santa is the real thing!

Still don't believe in Santa? Why not also watch the 1947 classic for that extra dose of Christmas spirit.

1. Love Actually (2003)

You simply can't beat a romcom at Christmas. This holiday classic follows a dozen couples as they have their hearts broken or simply just fall in love.

Although it's often considered flawed by critics there's simply far too much to enjoy to write it off.

3. How the Grinch Stole Christmas (2000)

The Grinch has got to be everyone's favourite green holiday grump.

This whimsical Christmas film starring Jim Carrey is guaranteed to make your heart grow three sizes.

4. Polar Express (2004)

Based on the children's book by Chris Van Allsburg this fantasy flick takes you on a train ride to the North Pole.

5. Scrooge (1970)

A true Christmas classic! This musical movie really helps to bring this Dickensian novel to life.

Bah humbug to anyone who doesn't agree.

6. Elf (2003)

This laugh-out-loud hilariously funny film follows the tale of a human man that was raised by Santas elves as he faces the hustle and bustle of New York City for the very first time.
