A 375 hectare of nature reserve on the outskirts of Nottingham.
You can’t talk about Sherwood Forest without talking about Robin Hood and his band of merry men. These residents' heroic acts of robbing the rich to feed the poor are legendary tales that have been passed down from generation to generation.
Today the forest’s most famous living resident is and 1,000 year old oak tree, the legendary Major Oak. The tree shares it’s home with a multitude of other wildlife including birds, mammals, flora, and fauna.
